BOOK PICKS 2010

The results are in and Twilight is out! Well, at least on its way out...

Our very informal and unscientific survey, where we asked every student at Traf to list the books they are reading right now received 286 entries!

Which book occurred most frequently?  Traf students named The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks more times than any other book. Surprised? Me neither. If requests for Nicholas Sparks books are any indication, the author of Dear John

lastsong

(which was the second most read book at Traf this year) and A Walk to Remember is a huge hit. I guess I should suck it up, listen to what the numbers are telling me and purchase his books for the library...

Here are the top five selections:

1.     The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks (20 votes)

2.     Dear John by Nicholas Sparks (11 votes)

3.     Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling and the Mortal Instruments series (7 votes each)

4.     Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and The Summer I turned Pretty by Jenny Han (6 votes each)

5.     Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and Crank by Ellen Hopkins (5 votes each).
