Book review: Thirteen Days to Midnight
by Patrick Carman
Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010
Are you looking for a fun and exciting summer read? Well, I suggest Thirteen Days to Midnight, by the New York Times Bestselling Author, Patrick Carman.
The story is about a boy named, Jacob Fielding who has cheated death. His amazing power leaves him testing his limits and wondering what to do with them.
When the new girl at school, Ophelia James, tells him that he should use his power towards helping people, he starts putting his power to a good use.
It turns out it isn't as easy as he thinks, but then again is it ever easy choosing who lives and who dies?
This is an amazing book with quite an original plot. I really enjoyed it and think it is a wonderful read.
NOTE FROM MS. G.: BRING BACK YOUR BOOKS AND BORROW THIS TITLE FOR THE SUMMER!
